Another in the series featuring outfits from Egoisme & The Hair Fair! Today I am wearing a bellydance/slave girl outfit. However it is also gorgeous as beachwear. It comes with a bikini top and matching full length sarong/skirt. The hair is [LeLutka]MAGDALEN  that can be worn as a simple up-do or add the pony tail for a more casual look. Jewellery is from Finesmith and compliments this outfit perfectly as each stone is colour-changeable. It comes in a set including earrings, necklace, eye jewel, bracelet and decorative matching umbrella.

Egoisme is perhaps a tad more renowned for its fabulous male clothing and accessories, however they have released a new line of womens outfits including mesh dresses and two pieces as well as swimwear, belly dancing/slave girl two pieces. I shall blog several of those outfits this week including this fabulous dress. I love the elaborate collar and the top jacket piece can also be worn individually with a pair of leather pants and looks fabulous!

Hair Fair 2012

It's here again, and you don't want to miss it this year!!!  Fantastic designers from all over the grid have created the most amazing hair designs. I shall be blogging a selection over the next two weeks. The best part of all you can shop virtually "low lag" (If you follow the instructions Info Low Lag ) .  I shopped on Bloggers day but I have returned today whilst the sim was practically full  & no matter where I went on the sim I could shop comfortably and try all the demos until my heart was content. This is a first for me. So a HUGE thank you to all the people behind the scenes that have worked their butts off for us!

Curio's Gala Phoenix is currently in the midst of legal issues which have resulted in her content being removed from the grid, pending the outcome of her legal battle. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) process in Second Life requires that when there is legal action taken against your content, Linden Lab will remove it from the grid until a ruling is made. Gala's fellow content creators have come together to host a fundraiser to help with the enormous amount of legal fees she will have to bare in order to fight these baseless claims.The fundraiser will be held from July 9-15, with a blogger preview on July 8th.Some participants include Flowey, BareRose, Black Lace, Belleza, Ingenue, Laq, Luck Inc, One Bad Pixel, Gos, Truth, Bent, Fawn, Cupcake, evolve, Glam Affair, ely, Lassitude & Ennui, Zanzibar, Adorkable, Ikon, League and many more.

This fundraiser is not only to help Gala Phoenix, but to also take a stand for the community of content creators, for many of whom SL is their main source of income. This could happen to any one of us, and it's necessary that we stand up and fight back to ensure that it doesn't.
